Overnigt closure of the Caxton Gibbet roundabout:
We have received the following statement in connection with the current resurfacing works on the A428 between Caxton Gibbet and St Neots.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will now have to close the Caxton Gibbet roundabout for the work we are doing there overnight tomorrow (Wednesday 10th August) and on Thursday 11th August. This will mean the diversion route will now start further east, with westbound traffic diverted off onto the A14 at junction 31 (Girton), heading north west to Godmanchester where they will follow the remainder of the usual diversion (exit at junction 21 Brampton Hut, taking the A1 to Wyboston, where the diversion ends). The remainder of the works will progress as you were originally informed, unless updated otherwise.
