Earlier this year as part of Parish Plan Community Wide Survey a large number of residents expressed an interest in volunteering in the Community or finding out about Parish Council Initiatives
As a result the Parish Council is hosting an event which will seek to match up potential volunteers to local voluntary organisations. A number of organisations will be represented at the event so this will be an opportunity to engage with them to find out more about them and the kinds of volunteering opportunities that are available and needed throughout Cambourne. This includes working with youth groups, litter picking, graffiti cleaning, sports and a wide range of other community groups and organisations
The event will take place in The Hub Community Centre, High Street, Cambourne CB23 6GW on Saturday 19th November 2016 between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
